Workshops and Performances
Ubuntu is a Community-Based West African Cultural Group based in Coventry; We provide a bespoke package for a variety of events such as children's parties, cultural shows, a village fete, a music festival, and much more. We will provide a large number of drums and percussion for your event. We will arrive at your venue in authentic African Costume and with a host of African instruments including djembes (hand drums) djuns (stick drums) balafon (African xylophone) calabash (African fruit) krin (log drum), Tama (talking drum) a go-go bells, various shakers and clapsticks. After a short performance, members of the public will be invited to join a workshop and perform themselves. Every participant will have an instrument to play and during the workshop will have the chance to change their place to play another instrument.
